Why Not Associates
Words are powerful, right? Well, British artist Gordon Young in collaboration with Russell Coleman and design firm Why Not Associates latest endeavor makes use of tree trunks, sandblasting, and typography for an installation at Crawley public library in the UK.

The library designed by architects Penoyre & Prasad is scheduled to open January 09.
According to Why Not, typefaces were partly chosen based on how well they worked with sandblasting and vary from Goth to Machine to Bembo.
